It’s been non- stop here, sorry for the gap between posts but a lot has been going on! Firstly we can now announce the exciting news that we will be working with Slater and Gordon and Davies and Partners providing case management services.
We have experienced a flurry of new case inquires which is always exciting and due to this increased level of interest Louise is considering options for taking on an assistant case manager and/ or an associate case manager to increase our capacity whilst maintaining our core aspiration of delivering the highest quality case management service within our client focused bespoke model. Exciting future developments are in the pipe line so I will keep you updated as these happen!
Louise has recently been looking into exciting outdoor activities for several of her clients who are seeking adventure. As I’m sure you’re aware getting out into the great outdoors can have incredible benefits to a client’s wellbeing, but it can also come with a host of challenges. One such challenge has been toileting. A client that uses a clos-o-Mat toilet at home, but was reluctant to take part in activities away from the home as this limited his personal care options, until Louise researched a portable bidet that can be placed over a standard toilet. This has potentially changed the client’s attitude to the going away from home opening up lots of opportunities. The equipment is available from-
In other news we are very excited to be attending the OT show 2017 from the 22nd-23rd November Louise we be attending a number of teaching sessions taking the opportunity to access world class CPD as well as having a catch up with other professionals in the industry. Finally we have also been following some fantastic work by lots of TBI charities and private healthcare providers on twitter. UKABIF who work to inform and educate on all matters ABI are currently holding a short film competition for people with a BI and the quality is VERY high, so grab a beverage of choice and dive in.
