Alongside a very busy client schedule, LDCM took on a month long challenge to raise funds for Headway UK.
The challenge was to complete the total point-to-point distance between each of Headway UKs midlands centre (virtually) as a team, by running or walking between April 1st and April 30th. This is a total distance of 1090km!
This gave us all an excuse to get outside everyday and blow away the cobwebs after long days in the car or at our desks. As you can imagine this was quite an undertaking, the distance worked out at 7.3km each day for each member of the team and we were not sure if we could complete it in time, but it wouldn’t be a challenge if it was easy.
On the very last day we completed the last kilometre of the challenge around 5pm which Louise was very relieved to hear as the team said she was to make up any shortfall on the treadmill!
We received this wonderful email from Headway UK.
“I would like to take this opportunity to say congratulations and thank you to you, and the team at Louise Denzel Case Management, for completing your Head to Headway Challenge. We hope you are now resting with your feet up after this epic feat!
So far, the team has raised an amazing £798.75, including Gift Aid, which will make a difference to thousands of people who turn to us for support, advice and information each year. We rely on wonderful fundraisers just like you to continue to provide our vital brain injury services throughout the UK, and we are so grateful for your efforts.
Once again, congratulations on this incredible achievement and please do extend my thanks to the rest of the team”.
Thank you to every one who supported us and it’s not too late if you would like to add a small contribution to our team total, please follow the link here-

Now we are all having a bit of a rest while we consider our next challenge.
